IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT RATES
At their meeting on Wednesday March 12, 2008, the Williamsburg Water and Sewer Commissioners voted to raise the water rates from $3.90 per cubic foot to $4.00 per cubic foot and to raise the sewer rates from $2.00 per cubic foot to $2.50 per cubic foot.
These increases are necessary due to increased fixed costs and the increased cost of sewer disposal from the City of Northampton. This is the first time rates have been increased in approximately 8 years for sewer and water rates have stayed the same since 1996.
The new rates will be effective with the May 2008 billing.
